Happy New Year!

And just like that, we have put 2020 in the rear view mirror!

Of course, the difference between December 31st, 2020 and January 1st, 2021, is but a day. We still have COVID-19 causing great difficulties.  Regrettably, the virus doesn't know what day it is.

I am writing not one but two stories now. The first, The Enigmatic Mr. Collins, is a sequel to A Fortuitous Fall.  I have never written a sequel to one of my books before, so this is proving an interesting experience.  Since Darcy and Elizabeth are already married, I no longer have to work on getting them together.  On the other hand, there are plenty of other young men and ladies who need to find their way to a happy future.

The other book is Longbourn Inheritance.  The main change from the traditional Pride and Prejudice is that the Bennets did have a son, but regrettably the boy (who was sickly from birth) died when he was 15 years of age.  The loss of the heir to Longbourn causes many changes in the relationships of the Bennets and, by extension, those around them.

Happy New Year, everyone!  I hope and pray for a healthy, joyful 2021!
